The five-star Monte Santo Resort is a superb family orientated resort offering guests a wide range of facilities in an idyllic setting. From the moment you arrive, the welcome is warm and friendly and, although there is a definite focus on families and extended family groups, couples are also likely to fall in love with this resort thanks to the location, range of facilities and great accommodation choices.

From a UK travellers perspective, the fact that a flight to Faro airport takes just two and a half hours combined with the transfer from airport to resort at just under an hour makes the Monte Santo an attractive prospect. It ensures that travelling time is kept to a bare minimum allowing every member of the party (including the little ones) to arrive feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy their break in the sunshine.

The resort overlooks the fishing village of Carvoeiro and there's plenty to explore in the area - beaches, waterparks, towns and villages plus a good choice of places to eat and drink.

Set in wonderfully kept gardens, Monte Santo has a great choice of swimming pools including an indoor pool and one for children.
