We loved the Monte Santo from the minute we arrived; it's such a warm and friendly place.
We loved the Monte Santo from the minute we arrived; it’s such a warm and friendly place. The grounds that are home to the main building and town houses are beautifully set out – it really is a pleasure to walk through the resort. The accommodation is impressive with the suites/apartments and the town houses offering lots of space, great furnishings and perfect facilities for families who want to escape for a real family holiday.
All of the accommodation has been cleverly designed to make life as relaxed as possible – well equipped kitchens, spacious living areas and plentiful bathrooms. Couple that with the fact that you can even have your groceries delivered to you or visit a nearby supermarket and it all contributes towards ensuring you get to spend as much time together as a family as you can.
Children and adults alike will love the pool area and, when the children need more to do, they have the opportunity to take part in the resort’s range of pre-planned activities (pre-booking is really essential). The indoor pool is a great standby just in case of a rainy day – it’s also perfect for small children who might prefer warmer waters.
If you choose not to venture far from the resort, the added bonus is that the Club House Restaurant has a great menu incorporating both international and Portuguese flavours. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant and took full advantage of soaking up the sunshine on the ample terrace space surrounding the main pool.
It’s also worth mentioning that whilst this is a perfect resort for families, both couples and adult-only parties are sure to love the great location, spa facilities and superb accommodation.
The transfer from Faro airport to the resort takes just under an hour making it an ideal choice for a mini-break as well as longer stays.
